My heart is broken for these communities and people who are stranded in catastrophic conditions that, in many cases, will take years to recover from. Ginger Clark: I am a North Carolina native and spent my childhood growing up in the foothills of Appalachia. The Blue Ridge mountains and the community of people that call it home, have welcomed me into their backyard my entire life. I am determined to bring resources and people together to restore this beautiful land for the people that call it home. We are headed up to the Blowing Rock area for the week next week to volunteer with Samaritan's Purse.
