How to Help Local Efforts in the aftermath of Helene in western North Carolina

Western NC Hurricane Helene Relief - Amazon Gift List - https://www.amazon.com/regist.../gl/guest-view/1RRKY70PXR4BY
Who We Are:
Rebekah Wilberg: Barley and I have spent the last 10 years hiking around the beautiful communities of western North Carolina. My heart is broken for these communities and people who are stranded in catastrophic conditions that, in many cases, will take years to recover from.

Ginger Clark: I am a North Carolina native and spent my childhood growing up in the foothills of Appalachia. The Blue Ridge mountains and the community of people that call it home, have welcomed me into their backyard my entire life. I am determined to bring resources and people together to restore this beautiful land for the people that call it home.
We are headed up to the Blowing Rock area for the week next week to volunteer with Samaritan's Purse.

In the meantime, we have also coordinated supply efforts to collect the most requested items from those affected by Hurricane Helene. If anyone would like to send MUCH needed supplies you can have them delivered direct to my (Rebekah's) home this week through the Amazon wish list link. As of now we have coordinated with local truckers to help transport all supplies to our base in Blowing Rock. From there we will distribute these items personally throughout the smallest and hardest to reach towns - you know, the ones you are not seeing on the news!

What are we all about?? Reaching the places the national news, FEMA and the big NGOs can't get to - and doing it with other private groups who have the expertise to help.

***There is also a big need for chainsaws.…that’s why the Home Depot gift cards are on the list.
Power, cell and internet is down. It’s a cash only system IF you can even get to a store. Roads are completely caved into the earth. You can’t imagine the devastation. Any help is SO appreciated. We will get every single donation to the people who need it most
.
Thanks y'all!

More updates to come this evening! We have so many partners who are coming alongside us, donating medical supplies, helicopter transports and more!
